Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is the newest of the moderate resorts. It opened its doors to guest in October of 1998. It has 2,109 rooms that can accommodate up to four guest. Caribbean Beach has seven heated pools making it the resort with the most pools on Disney property. Recreational activies include a 1.4 mile walking/jogging trail, playground, watercraft rental, fising in the 45 acre lake, an arcade, and of course sandy beaches. Caribbean Beach Resort also offers a limited number of specially themed "pirate rooms" that feature pirate ship beds and decor.

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort opened in August of 1997. It has 1,921 rooms that can accommodate up to four guest. Coronado Springs has four heated swimming pools with slides, children's pool, health club, fishing, and an arcade. Two unique full- service restaurants are located at this moderate resort.
Pros:
- Beautiful grounds
- Health club featuring a salon and room service. (not offered at any other moderate resort)
- More adult friendly hotel, less Disney feel
- Watercraft rentals
Cons:
- Less Disney feeling which can be a con for some
- Large and spread out so long walks to main building
- Convention hotel which can mean large groups
Location: Closest to Disney's Animal Kingdom park

- Maya Grill- Breakfast and dinner featuring wood-grilled steaks and seafood with a Latin flair.
- Cafe Rix- Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snacks
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort opened in May of 1994. It features 409 cabins that can accommodate up to 6 guest. Each cabin features a double bed, set of bunk beds and a pull-down bed, full bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. Fort Wilderness Resort offers several restaurants for any palete. Two heated swimming pools, children's pool, playgrounds, white sand beaches, pony rides, canoeing, fishing and tennis are just some of the recreational activities that Fort Wilderness Resort offers.

- Tons of recreational activites for any age
- Full Kitchen
- View of Electrical Water Pagent from beach area
- Bus tranportation has to be used to go everywhere even to be taken to the bus stop to go to the theme parks

Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground
Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground opened in November of 1971. It has 784 campsites that can accommodate everything from a pop up tent to big rig campers. There are also a limited number of pet friendly camp sites. Recreation include Nightly Chip 'n Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long with Disney Characters and movies, horseback riding, and wagon rides.
Pros:
- Peacful
- Offers some pet friendly camp sites
- Ferry to Magic Kingdom is available
- Can see the firework from the Magic Kingdom
- Tons of recreational actvities offered on site
- Watercraft rentals
Cons:
- Long walks to get to places within the campsite
- Transpertaion can be tricky

Disney's Port Orleans Riverside
Disney's Port Orleans Riverside opened in July of 1992. It has 2,048 rooms that are themed around the "old south". Port Orleans Riverside has a themed heated swimming pools with water slides. Watercraft, bike rentals, fishing, campfire, and arcade are just some of the recreational activities offered at this moderate resort. New Royal Guest Rooms only offered ar Port Orleans Riverside will make you feel like a prince or princess with custom linens and drapes and magical artwork.

- Beautiful Grounds
- Can take a boat to Downtown Disney
- Carriage rides available
- Onsite food court and sit down restaurant
- Paddleboat rental
- Catcah and release fishing can be done at this resort
- Royal guest room option
- Spread out resort
- Buses are often inconvient
Location: Closest to Downtown Disney
Full-Service Restaurant: Boatwright's Dining Hall- Dinner featuring southern specialties and home-style classics.
Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter
Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter opened in May of 1991. It has 1,008 rooms with designs unique to Mardi Gras in New Orleans. One heated swimming pool Mardi Gras-inspired Doubloon Lagoon with water slide. Recreation includes watercraft rentals, bike rentals, fishing, and arcade just to name a few. French Quarter has no table service restaurant but does have a food court.
Pros:
- Beautiful grounds
- Carriage rides are offered on the grounds
- Compact resort which means the main building is closer
- Can take a boat to get to Downtown Disney
- Watercraft rentals available
Cons:
- No Sit down restaurant on site
- Buses are sometimes shared with Port Orleans French Quarter which means more crowded and makes for long wait time.
